PhotoLive Expo 2022

You know you’re getting old when 7:30pm is feeling late, but I’ve been volunteering all day at PhotoLive Expo and I’m absolutely shattered so don’t expect a long one (especially after last week).

PhotoLive is a yearly trade show hosted by Camera Electronica, this year held at the Novatel Hotel in Perth. A relatively small con compared to most of the big pop culture ones I’ve more experience with, but it was nice to by in something a little more down scale to be honest.

I spent most of my day manning a registration for one of the two workshops rooms held at the event, and when I say manning the registration I mean keep the seat warm whilst the person with the ticket information was in the workshops and I was mostly relegated to summoning her if late people turned up… which happened approximately twice throughout the day.

For me it was a boring affair with the main selling floor just a stone throw away and the hussle and bussle far away from me, and I couldn’t be happier. I helped with pack down and clean up in the areas I was at, and helped lug some of the equipment to the trucks, but honestly even all that I’m shattered.

So here’s literally the only photo I took on my phone because I didn’t have time to take of the floor itself.
