Welcome to the World of Tomorrow…

The obligatory first post of the blog as I stumble around this space of squares.

For those that are unaware I’m currently studying my Advanced Diploma in Photography at North Metropolitan TAFE, wherein I’m exploring my creative side and crunching my way through the business side. Part of this year’s course is working on a book, creating a series of images for a major exhibition, and exploring new techniques and skills in the production of visual imagery.

I hope to use this blog to document some of my photographic work, “on set” reports, behind-the-scenes, and hopefully being somewhat entertaining. As a teaser I’ll post a test shot below of my book, a look at the urban landscape during the midnight hours.

Tonkin Hwy using HDR at f/11, ISO 1600, and varying shutter speeds. Didn’t notice the glaring dust spot in the middle of the lens until I got home.

I hope you stick around for my future photographic adventures as I explore my creative side and hopefully produce some interesting images.
